Christian Propaganda you were forced to watch as a kid
So Christian Propaganda did you watch as a child? Forced or just led to watch by some church?

Did you believe any of it?

I remember going to a church because my parents and my neighbors made me.

They made us watch The creation adventure team movie. Six Short days.

This is a short version of it but I remember the coolest thing about the movie was the "google glass" that they used for it. Basically special glasses that were computer screens and talked to the kids in the class room.

I believed it because I was a child and only because I was a child. After all, Why would an adult lie to me? Right?

My Youtube channel if anyone is interested.

The two biggest ones I had to watch were Bibleman and Veggie Tales...

I only watched it to make my dad proud because religion was all he cared about.

My Biblical History Professor loves veggie tales. He had us watch this. He played the whole thing. He kept giggling long after everyone had stopped laughing.

I'm homophobic in the same way that I'm arachnophobic. I'm not scared of gay people but I'm going to scream if I find one in my bath.

I'm. Also homophobic in the same way I'm arachnophobic. I'm scared of spiders but I'd still fuck'em.

In terms of religious videos, we tended to watch CCC lives of the saints like:

I also saw the Passion of the Christ in theaters. I was 12 at the time and my brother 9.

I love veggie tales and the book of virtues. Who doesn't love a talking buffalo?

RE: Christian Propaganda you were forced to watch as a kid
As a kid there were two things I wanted to do when I grew up... Join the RAF and become a fighter pilot, or play guitar in a band professionally.

The former fell by the wayside pretty quickly after I discovered I was colour blind... But I was learning the guitar very quickly, and soon had a band going in school.

When it became clear that I was more interested in playing and listening to Rock music than read the Bible and Watchtower magazines, my grandmother sent me a DVD, insisting that I watch it and get "straightened out".

So I watched it...

It was about a kid in an American college/high-school who was very good at athletics. So good, his coach thought he could go pro, and maybe even compete in the Olympics. But there was a problem, because the kid was a Jehovah's Witness.

In a nutshell... It basically said you should give up on all your talents, dreams and ambitions, however much you enjoy them. To spend a lifetime reading the fucking Bible, and how much happier you'll be if you do.

Needless to say... The DVD ended up in the trash.
