I suppose you could class this as Christian rock... When the Green God was in his "born again" phase. Combined with a lot of acid.

And this one is directly inspired by Revelation.

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Of course you run into the issue of whether or not something is automatically "Christian Rock" or "religious" simply by virtue of having mentioned Jesus, God, etc. Is that enough or does it need to be "devotional" to some degree? For example the Beach Boys song "God Only Knows," I would not classify as religious. George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord," on the other hand I would. I like them both regardless.

I actually really like Flyleaf (from back in the day with Lacie Sturm). I know that their music probably isn't considered complex by a musician's standards. But I love Lacie's vocals, and I actually find (some) of their songs inspiring. What do ya'll think about Flyleaf?

Also, I really like Steven Curtis Chapman. I think he is an amazing guitarist, songwriter, and human being regardless of the religious content. He seems more pop, gospel, and blue-grass inspired, not really rock-and-roll, but still definitely worth mentioning.
