Because if he existed he was human and humans don't live 2017 years humans die and that's the end there is no evidence for postmortem existence its not hard to understand. Besides how do you know he's not dead ?

We hope he ressurected so we don't just die. But it should be evident that death is not the end but a transfer from one place to the other by feelings of instinct. He did die and resurrected into an unperishable eternal body.

Why should it be evident when we don't have any evidence for dualism?
