That's what happens when you con yourself into believing that you a special invisible friend in the sky who can do anything.

Real life is hard to understand. Religion is a cop out. It's easier to go with the easy answer than to actually think about shit. It's easier to ban the naysayer than to competently counter sound argument. Delusion is dependent on constant reinforcement.

RE: Christianforums.com
A while back I posted this message on that forum

"First off, let me just start off by saying how deeply sorry I am for causing issue on the forum.
Usually I am a very civil person and I don’t know what came over me.
Causing a ruckus with my posts was never my intention.
Keeping the peace is my typical MO.

There is always going to be a part of me who holds myself to higher standards.
Helping people is an admirable goal of mine.
I just don’t always approach it in the best way.
Sometimes it can be quite difficult.

For future reference, I am a nice guy.
Only on occasion do I slip.
Really, I like it here.
Ultimately, it is on me to be better.
My goal is to cause little to no issue in the future.

very sincerely

Note that if you read only the capital letters going vertically, it says "Fuck this Forum"

I kind of thought they would get the joke and boot me...nope. It just kept going, until I got this reply a few days back

"After careful review our moderating team has reached consensus and has decided to give you grace for the PM you sent that was found to be flaming and profanity vios and extend you grace due to the apology you sent and not issue you a staff action for it.

We understand that people may get upset when receiving a staff action but feel it can be politely taken up with staff. We ask that you please do not do this again and also ask that you contact the Member Services Center where you can discuss this there.

Should you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me, a Supervisor, or an Administrator. Thank you and may you have a very nice day."

Yes, not only did they not get it, but the staff contacted me and apologized because I "apologized." They really do have a hard time seeing the obvious for their own ego...
