A few things here:
1) I've met Kent Hovind, he's an asshole (pardon the language).
2) I've sat through eight hours of Hovind's Creationism seminars, it worked on me for about a year when I was 11.
3) Kent Hovind was also sent to Federal prison for a slew of tax related issues, as well as obstructing federal agents, and got out not too long ago, his son Eric took over the business.
4) Kent Hovind wouldn't know science if it hit him in the head. And he did hit me in the head with a brontosaurus once, while flinging stuffed dinosaurs into an audience while trying to explain one of his wacky ideas about gravity.
5) Kent Hovind's arguments against evolution are so bad that Ken Ham's Answers in Genesis says that he hurts the Young Earth Creationist movement. Case in point
5a) AiG issues a statement on things Creationists shouldn't use, due to being totally disproven, even in their eyes.
5b) Hovind fires back with a point by point reply.
5c) Ken Ham, Jonathan Sarfati, and Carl Wieland of Answers in Genesis fires back at length at Kent Hovind with an article "Maintaining Creationist Integrity (A Response to Kent Hovind). Among the gems, they call Hovind's Ark claims "fraudulent". They get really cranky when they get to the bullet point list towards the end of the refutation.
6) Come on man, the Watchmaker argument?

Need to think of a witty signature.

Consider the flu virus or malaria, it's so wondrously designed that it mutates constantly to render the vaccinations we develop worthless.
This wonderful design of the Creator shows that it is designed to destroy life in a very effective way and can adapt to survive our attempts to stop it. The Creator wants us dead, constant mutation for the survival of these plagues prove that.

Our purpose in this life is to serve as hosts for these plagues so they can continue to propagate. It's clear that human life is not important to the survival of these plagues as they are successful in killing millions of people a year.

You are wrong, Pasadi. I have literally seen evidence for evolution at the cellular level.

You would do well to disabuse yourself of the notion that "evolution" refers to the origin of life. It does not. Abiogenesis, a fairly new area of research, is the study of how life arises from non-life.

Evolution is how species develop over many generations. It's quite simple, really:

If all the food in an area is in a tall tree, any animal that cannot reach the fruit, cannot fly or cannot climb the tree will die from starvation and will not have any offspring. Taller animals, animals that can fly and animals that can climb will life long enough to have progeny -- which will usually share the same traits that allowed their parents to survive.

The above is a somewhat simplistic example, but this is essentially how evolution works: Genes that provide a survival advantage, even a tiny advantage, will tend to get passed down to the next generation. Depending on the situation, a trait can be either good or bad: Sometimes it helps to be large and sometimes it's better to be small. Sometimes bright plumage is an advantage and sometimes it will attract predators and get you killed. In time, groups of organisms grow apart into distinct and eventually incompatible species because their genes are too different to permit inter-species mating. The number of chromosomes can also change over time due to fusion or splitting, and due to various biochemical pressures it is possible to develop new alleles or erase them from the genome.

TL;DR version: Evolution is real. Deal with it.
