1) I've met Kent Hovind, he's an asshole (pardon the language).
2) I've sat through eight hours of Hovind's Creationism seminars, it worked on me for about a year when I was 11.
3) Kent Hovind was also sent to Federal prison for a slew of tax related issues, as well as obstructing federal agents, and got out not too long ago, his son Eric took over the business.
4) Kent Hovind wouldn't know science if it hit him in the head. And he did hit me in the head with a brontosaurus once, while flinging stuffed dinosaurs into an audience while trying to explain one of his wacky ideas about gravity.
5) Kent Hovind's arguments against evolution are so bad that Ken Ham's Answers in Genesis says that he hurts the Young Earth Creationist movement. Case in point
5a) AiG issues a statement on things Creationists shouldn't use, due to being totally disproven, even in their eyes.
5b) Hovind fires back with a point by point reply.
5c) Ken Ham, Jonathan Sarfati, and Carl Wieland of Answers in Genesis fires back at length at Kent Hovind with an article "Maintaining Creationist Integrity (A Response to Kent Hovind). Among the gems, they call Hovind's Ark claims "fraudulent". They get really cranky when they get to the bullet point list towards the end of the refutation.
6) Come on man, the Watchmaker argument?

I know brother I know, its sad enough to make ya weep they need to send us some more substantial chew toys

I really wish Ham himself would try to convert us Sad Though my personal thought is that he doesn't believe in YEC either, and couldn't really try to defend it.

Need to think of a witty signature.

RE: Christianity for busy thinking people
Pasadi...

I want you to (please) take a moment to consider that you're working with some VERY bad information.

1) You incorrectly stated what atheists are, and have not yet acknowledged those that corrected you about what we believe. That tells me that you intend to go on believing whatever you want about us, even when you've (almost) learned that it simply isn't true. People who believe things get to define what it is they believe, not other people for them. If I said that Christians worship the Virgin Mary and think she is a goddess, for instance, and you told me that this wasn't true, yet I failed to say "Okay, sorry, you don't believe that after all", what would you conclude about my integrity and intentions?

2) You have woefully misrepresented the evidence for evolution and presented videos from a guy who's so bad in his arguments that even the primary Creationist organization disavows that stuff completely. And yet you believed it enough to point us toward those videos. I want you to really think about that, for a moment. If you intend to go right on believing whatever you want, even in the face of being shown (thanks, Shai!) that your information is faulty, what does it force others to conclude about your integrity and intentions?

3) Do you really want to represent Christianity in a way that shows others that you are dishonest, or at least so arrogant that you cannot acknowledge that you were misinformed by those whom you trusted to tell you the truth about science? Shai is a Christian and an expert on evolution, as is also true for my own wife (a geneticist). Why would they accept evolution as 100% true if it was an atheism thing? Think about that. Please!

Look, I'm sure we all don't mind a bit if you go about making religion look literally ridiculous, but I don't think you realize that one of the reasons people are leaving the faith in droves (myself included) is that this type of misinformation makes people start questioning the other things that make up your belief system-- if you can believe things so clearly false, so poorly phrased that even a second-year biology student would know enough to disprove them all, then what should we conclude about the other things you assure us are true about the invisible world you tell us exists, or the Orthodox doctrines you urge us to accept?

TL;dr version - Your information is so bad that even other Creationists reject it, yet you haven't been honest enough to say "oops" and correct yourself. We must therefore conclude that you are either a mind-blown cultist with no interest in the truth or else you are simply a dishonest person coming here to troll us. You should stop and have a good look at yourself, either way.

He doesn't even know the century the orthodox religion began. BTW, it was the 11th. And it began in Eastern Rome. Now referred to incorrectly by historians as Byzantium. No such empire ever existed. Historians created that empire and gave eastern empire another name for their convenience.

You can not be atheist because Atheist says God does not exists. But you don't know everything so what if God exists in the space you don't know. So as man you can be at most agnoistic.

Tell me, do you reject the existence of unicorns, hobgoblins, and people that actually like Fosters beer?

God is basically that for us. Just another myth with no reason to be believed.

There are not millions of dead testifying of unicorns but are millions of dead coming to life testifying of God of Heaven and Christianity, even if they are of different religions.

So there is not the same thing.

RE: Christianity for busy thinking people
I am happy you guys have heard of Kent Hovind.

He says both are religions both Creationist and evolution. Evolution is not a fact is a religion. It is not demonstrated. Nobody had succesfully transaferred one kind into another kind.

Also we see only kinds we don't see half kind moving to one kind and another kind moving to another kind like half dogs trying to become girrafes and half dogs trying to become chicken we see dogs being dogs and all changes being sickness and malformations. So no evolution so far. Nobody has prooved that kinds can become other kinds that a banana can become chicken.

Banana has become chicken as evolution states or rock has become chicken is av story with princess and princesses that you have to believe is true like a religion. It has not been proven.

I don't believe banana can become chicken even in millions of years.

Evolution is false. Here are some seminars.
Which you have posted already.

Please do not spam. If people are not responding to the links it's not because they are not available, it's because they are ignorable.

NDEs are not "millions of dead coming to life" and the stories from NDEs are inconsistent. The fact that you cherry pick stories that agree with what you believe is not evidence that you are correct.

I really hope you are a poe since it is hard to understand how anybody that gullible could survive.

Hovind is a recognised moron. Only another moron would support his idiocy.

Also stop posting worthless links. Nobody here is going to buy that nonsense.
