It's proof that delusion creates certain accompanying emotions. So what's new about that?

Yes delusion works as well. What's with the hostility?

Christians were asked to listen to prayers being read by three different people who, they were told, were a non-Christian, an ordinary Christian, and a Christian 'known for his healing powers'. When in fact, they were all ordinary Christians...

Just telling them that someone has healing powers makes them think that they are highly charismatic, Brain scans show a switch, What's more,
they didn't feel God's presence in the prayers read by the person they were told was a non-Christian.

A child is scared of something in the dark that is not there. It's the same thing. So what?
Yup, both show belief in fiction creating emotion. Glad you understand that finally. Consider

@DonaldTrump, Patriotism is not honoring your flag no matter what your country/leader does. It's doing whatever it takes to make your country the best it can be as long as its not violent.

I've understood that for a long time. The imagination is a powerful thing and brings forth certain emotions. There is a thread on this very forum where an atheist imagines that there is no god and feels so much better than when he imagined god. I told him his imagery of god must be really messed up.

The primary proof to most Christian's I encounter is the "feeling" they get. This is why the OP link interests me.

The "feeling" is not supernatural, its demonstrably self deception.
Thus becomes not evidence for a God but rather the absence of them.

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

When are they not "duped?"

Atheism is NOT a Religion. It's A Personal Relationship With Reality!

Delusion is what we are talking about here. You delude yourself into thinking "Gawd is Luv", and you get a delusional warm fuzzy.

Hey, asshole, you are misrepresenting what was said. No surprise here. Stuff your strawmen up your ass and set them on fucking fire.

I would have to agree that is sometimes the case. But that is not evidence there is no such thing or person as God. Empathy is real.

This isn't surprising. You could very probably dupe most atheists the same way.

"Three people read from Richard Dawkins "The God delusion". The participants are told the first is a christian, the second an atheist, and the third an atheist and a colleague of Richard Dawkins with a PhD. Who read it best?".

Confirmation bias is a real psychological phenomenon. It's just more amusing when it happens to Christians.

Actually, It is not delusional to say Love rules as the moral Truth. I see nothing wrong with warm and fuzzy. What you think Love is a delusion? That's sick.
