RE: Christopher Hitchens Debate
One question: how do you know he was either Irish or Scottish? You know for a fact or you think he was because of the accent, your impression, etc?

What I'm trying to say is that, if you need to establish filters, make sure they are in fact true. Just thought it might be a possibility.

Just wanted to thank KnowtheSilence for this link. Invaluable.

Check out my now-defunct atheism blog. It's just a blog, no ads, no revenue, no gods.

Thanks for the help! I'll continue to look and when I find it I'll post the link here.

Consider

Scottish... Jon Haldane ... nah! Too old.

Younger, almost logical ... Jay Richards ... nah! Not Scottish / Irish.

Thought provoking but Hitch at his best ... Tony Blair ... nah! Too old, not Scottish

Genuinely funny ... David Wolpe ... nah! Too Jewish.

I've run out of ideas.

Sadcryface

I second that.

Will, what were you saying on that other thread about 'likes'? You rest your case.

Yeah, that's exactly what I went through! LOL! ARGH!

He definitely was Scottish or Irish. Methinks he was a Scot. Against the Hitch he fared the best. Still lost but he was inspiring.
