For example, if you didn't know me and I told you I was a Christian, what would your immediate thought be?

Well, I'd wonder why you were telling me! That would be my first thought.

I certainly wouldn't post insensitive comments on your obit!

You seem to move rather quickly from meeting the man to not posting comments on his obituary Tongue

KC, we understand that Christians, like the entire human race, vary in their lovability. Since trying to educate the neanderthals is probably a losing proposition, I propose that for health and long life you forget about them Wink Don't feel like you have to confront them - do by all means confront them if they cross you.

I know... it's just frustrating because it's the exact opposite of what Christ teaches... the same Christ they are supposedly following.

I wouldn't be the first to remark that I've rarely met any actual Christians.

RE: Christopher Hitchens has died.
I mean, I've expect this since I heard how bad his cancer was, but it always hits home when it finally happens.

Damn you cancer.

RE: Death of Christopher Hitchens
As the news of Mr Hitchens death hits the air waves, I find it interesting to note there is currently a huge number of people on this forum this very moment.
The current count:
42 users active in the past 15 minutes (14 members, 2 of whom are invisible, and 25 guests).

I guess it was only matter of time, buy anyway, I cannot help myself to feel somewhat sad at his death.

A great mind like him will be remembered.
