Church leader stresses importance of "facts" - oh the irony burns
Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, has hit out at the epidemic of fake news in his annual Easter sermon.

Archbishop Welby said that the public has become used to facts "being reduced to the level of opinion" and that "opinions are in themselves the only facts that seem to count".

Coming from a highly-placed official of a major church this is both enlightening and ironic. However I'm sure the irony is lost on most of his congregation.

"However, what brings the faithful out to worship in Tanta and Alexandria is truth. It happened." Speaking on the resurrection.

If you could rationalize with religious people there would be no more religion.
