Church signs that annoy you, or you find funny

Ahhhhhhh, it's a Unitarian Universalist Church.......that may just be a bit of sarcasm. I went to one in NC that had a sign up selling bag lunches to take with you on Rapture Day....

We are having a heat wave roll through at the moment--105 average to be exact. I saw a church sign say, "Hell is hotter than this."

I really want to go buy some letter and place, " FUCK YOU " on the sign.

There's a church near me that really fucks me off with their sign. It reads;

No Jesus, No Peace
Know Jesus, Know Peace

It's not only false advertising but it's beyond arrogant as well. Maybe I should see if I can alter it sometime, I'd really hate for a church to get my precious time and attention though.

Tropical Storm Debby passed through Florida this past week. Prior to Debby, we were in a severe drought. I saw many post and comments on Facebook, where people were praying to god for rain. I suppose god delivered, as thousands of people have lost their homes, vehicles, animals, crops, etc. from major flooding. What a wonderful god they have.

Here's a sign in front of a local Baptist church. Made me chuckle.

"A message referring to rainfall from a tropical storm system is displayed at the San Jose Baptist Church on Monday, June 25, 2012, in Jacksonville, Fla. Tropical Storm Debby raked the Tampa Bay area with high wind and heavy rain Monday in a drenching that could top 2 feet over the next few days and trigger widespread flooding."

I saw one the other day that read:

"If Jesus is your co-pilot, switch seats."

I read that to mean "don't think for yourself, be a mindless sheep."

A church up in Auckland put the following up, caused quite a stir.

Simply stated on a church lit-up entrance sign: "Heaven or Hell? Your choice."

A church in my country posted some big ass billboards that basically said.

"Leaders of the world are pushing for a one world government *Bible quote about the one world government that will follow the apocalypse*"

and

"A lot of countries are implementing a new microchip, without it you wont be able to buy or sale. Don't get tagged by the mark of the beast."

The ignorance is funny. But it is a little worrisome that this people have the amount of money to be able to put this billboards.
