Colorado Fires
Finally had enough of all the calls for prayers to put out the fires in my home state.

This post has pissed a few people off today

Thank you! Well put by the way. I noted in the ranting thread about a woman on the news in an area ravaged by the fire stated "god is good" ! Angry

My favorite line:

Maybe this is payback for dealing Tebow to the Jets? Just saying…

RE: Colorado Fires
God burnt down my house and I was living in my car until it was stolen.
I got fired from my job, then I found out that I have cancer and six months to live.
I asked god why did he do this. He didn't answer. Isn't god great. Bowing

The old gods are dead, let's invent some new ones before something really bad happens.

RE: Colorado Fires
I almost feel like praying for fire to stop has to be the most retarded thing I've heard today.
*facepalm*

Instead of prayer they should be creating fire breaks around their homes, then evacuate, if a home is threatened.

Now if any other people want to do something why not set up donations.

People are just too lazy to think of solutions, they'd rather complain to nobody.

RE: Colorado Fires
Well I think it's in situations like these fires when you're watching the news and all that comes to mind is:
Where's ya God now huh?

I'll put my trust in fireman, you put yours in God and lets see who puts out the fire eh?

RE: Colorado Fires
Two years ago we had this huge fire here in Israel. As I recall, the hardcore religious leadership claims that it happened because the people who suffered from the fire didnt observe the shabbat... despite the fact that the town that suffered the most was a place where LOTS of religious, shabbat observing jews live, as far as I remember.
