RE: Comedians
It's a real shame because I can only find a few of his skits on youtube which is really depressing because I think, even in his crochety consipiricy theories, he was pretty much a genius. There are only a few comedians I like (Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle and Dara O'Briain) and I can really associate with Carlin, especially his views on religion.

I cant find many comedians talking about atheism so, does anybody know any skits by anyone that could be interesting? Thanks

RE: Comedians
Ricky Gervais is another great atheist comedian who has some great bits about religion.

RE: Comedians
Try Bill Maher. He is a very hardcore atheist, although I don't like his stand up style.

Anyone heard about Tim Minchin? I came across him recently, and I find some of his sketches funny. Here are a few examples; what do you guys think?

You JUST heard of George Carlin? Really? It's official: I'm really old.

His best bits were from the 70s, including the "7 words you can't say on television". He also was the first ever guest on Saturday Night Live (with musical guest Andy Kaufman).

Btw, while he ravaged the church repeatedly in his comedy, in interviews he generally spoke very highly of his Catholic school experiences and the Nuns who taught him.

I just thought the same thing-I must be really old.

RE: Comedians
Carlin is great. From an anti-religious point of view, so are Dara O'Briain, Eddie Izzard, Tim Minchin. All have good raps on YouTube.
