RE: Commentary: Full Circle & popsthebuilder’s fireside chat
On this planet we are not:

1. The fastest

2. The biggest or strongest

3. The longest lived

4. We are one of many species of humans that have lived on this planet.

5. Probably not even the smartest animals on the planet.

Asserting that we are unique, is a value judgement that doesn't even hold true on this planet.

A real god would not need mortals for any reason, we would simply not be the focus of creation, we would be a byproduct of natural laws i.e. evolution.

Even if I were convinced of the existence of a god, I simply can't be convinced it would care to even bother with us considering the vastness of the cosmos. Only silly primates from this planet think they are important enough to merit a god's attention.
Vastness...plus our uniqueness within that vastness makes for a compelling scenario.

Please provide some explanation of our "uniqueness".
Are you claiming that we are the only intelligent species in the universe? Consider

Wow.

It's the opposite of diluted.

You posted a quote.
That quote argued that we are irrelevant or similar to other species or as common as a grain of sand among the beach.

What I posted was that we are not similar to those things or anything else in existence as we have dominion over all that we can observe. This, and the fact that our planet is the only one readily observable to have advanced life is proof that we are both unique and potent.

We will never realize this potential unless work together as one body or one soul doing what is best for all.

Too diluted. No, wait, naive right?

Your reading comprehension is abysmal.
I would explain it to you if I cared at all about you, but I don't so I won't.

Pops. I had a pet rat. She died of cancer. I have cancer.

How am I really any different to my rat? We're both mammals. We're both born and then die.

I have read the ancient and modern histories Pops.
I need a citation. In fact several.

Authors. Books. Page and paragraph numbers. Sources from tangible relics etc.

PROVIDE THEM!

That is a demand Pops. Do you understand?

Neither do we; we have limited dominion over an incredibly minuscule fraction of "all observable existence". Your arrogance is showing.

Arrogance. Stupidance. Fucktardance.

So funny what he says regarding history. I've read from Polybius to Livy to Edward Gibbon to Mary Beard. None describes Rome the ways Pops does.

Hey Pops, never read The decline and fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon? I have. All three volumes.

You are full of shit and living in your own little fantasy world. And you will never convince anyone other than crazy people of your ideas.

How in the fuck do you suggest I provide documentation against the oldest most powerful force in history.

Demand? That's laughable. Are you defending the rcc, ancient pagans or both.
