Common Courtesy not so common?
Today I was headed into the post office to drop off a letter. On my way in I passed an older almost elderly woman carrying a heavy box with some stuff on top of it as well. I held the door open for her and she smiles and says to me:

"Thank you! No one has ever done that for me before"

Dumbfounded all I could respond with was "Well now someone has, youre welcome"

O.O WTF is wrong with people. Whats happened to helping each other out. *sigh*

Maybe she has never carried a heavy box with stuff on top in/out of the post office on a tuesday... but has had plenty of other doors held open in different situations?

I try to hold doors for little girls...

....Actually I don't really wanna talk about that. Confused

You can't trust anything old people tell you. They LIE!

Well... they do forget. But anyway, I know what you mean. It's not too common to see anyone holding a door for anyone else anymore.

I do it often and I also wave at people in oncoming cars when I'm on two lane country roads. It's amazing how many people won't wave back.

I thought you were swatting at something in your car... So naturally I gripped my wheel tighter, hoping that you won't start swerving.

I'm sorry, what were we talking about? There's a sexy kitty in your avatar that got me all flustered...
