Now I HAVE to go see it! Angry

You are the snake in the Garden of Eden!
I rated it on the rate the last film you've seen thread... I think I gave it a fair assessment. Shy

For me, the best part of the entire film was her, Marius, and Cosette singing at the gate. Her characterization of Eponine was perfect ... as was her voice. I thought she was the strongest and best of all the singers... and the guy playing Marius was just as brilliant.
Exactly- that's the moment that sticks out the most for me, too.

Kim you'd look beautiful in that dress. That dress does look futuristic, though.

Thanks. Blush

It does look futuristic, doesn't it... with those round parts? I like it's uniqueness. She's standing kind of awkwardly Confused maybe the dress won't let you stand any other way or you risk looking like a dork.

Gotta admit Stark - she's a knicker-dropper. Thumbsup

I'm not that kind of guy. No

RE: Confession: I cheated yesterday
Based on information gained from this thread (i.e. that there is a new Les Mis movie out), I am going here http://www.gv.com.sg/cinemas_couplescinema.jsp this afternoon.

Thanks KC.

It's a newly opened 'couples' cinema.

I am hoping, as it still quite new, the seats won't be too sticky.

I wonder if they provide tissues?

Cos Les Mis always makes me cry!

AWESOME movie!

Wept like a baby.

Eponine stole the show of course.

I was kinda unimpressed by Marius until he sang Empty Chairs and Empty Tables then more blubbing ensued.

Helena B-C was a delight.

Can anyone tell me if I imagined it... did they cut / change Gavroche's song to take out the bit about "a flea can bite the bottom of the pope in Rome"?

Talking of things holy... if there are any atheists out there who have not understood why the god / heaven hypothesis has survived for so long. A small taste of Hugo and a little Dickens with quickly help you make the connection between god and poverty.

I have yet to see the movie (as I love the musical and am slightly hesitant to have it ruined for me) But I have to say....from the previews I've seen Anne Hatheway sings I dreamed a dream with such pain that I it makes me hurt (in the emotional connection, good sort of way)

I do need to go see it. Maybe I will today.
