From the Dzogchen point of view everything is the Five Pure Lights.

However in our ignorance we see what seems to be physical matter.

Based on what we KNOW, (that the ONLY times we observe the emergence of consciousness ... it emerges from functioning brains) the issue of proving that didn't happen then is so remote, it's a waste of time. When and IF it's ever observed in any other context, THEN and only then is it worthwhile to go on your wild goose chase.

That's your best argument? The brain is obviously involved in conscious activity. But there is no evidence it creates consciousness! You don't get it do you?

Well however good it is or is not, the fact that consciousness emerges ONLY from functioning brains IS ALL the evidence anyone has, and the fact it CHANGES when brains are damaged, leads to a fairly reliable (so far) inference.
The fact you are still talking about "creates" proves how delusional you are.

Your crap has really been a *howling success* here, hasn't it ?

But you can't prove consciousness has not existed since the beginning of the universe.

That's not the way it works. You claim there was, you have the burden of proof.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Well, that was unenlightening. Dodgy

In your delusion, you see what seems to be Five Pure Lights. Or something.

Daniel Dennett would wholeheartedly agree with you. Yes

Mmhm, I still don't recall seeing a reply from you about unconsciousness.

If we can chemically alter brain function, we alter consciousness.
We have the ability to toggle it on and off.

We can do the same thing with our sensory organs by interfering with nerve receptors traveling from the sensory organ to the brain.

When you are unconscious, you have no idea that you are unconscious. Why do you suppose that is ?

Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

Solopcism is just like the egocentric opera singer, Me me me me me.

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

No it's far more dismal than that. I can't vouch for my own existence in a court of metaphysics. Don't know what the fuck the rest of you are thinking.

Yabut, you could build a circumstantial case. Consider
