Conservative Logic. Bob Bigot vs. Stan and Dan
A comparison occurred to me earlier this morning after reading about Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and the latest religious exemption law.

Baker Bob the Bigot is a good ol' god-fearing christian who hates the gays just like Jesus would want him to. Stan and Dan, the clearly evil gay couple (you know they are clearly evil because "Stan" starts with "S" just like "Satan" and "Dan" starts with "D" just like "Devil"), walk into Bob's bakery to order a cake for their upcoming anti-god "marriage" ceremony. Bob, being a good ol' christian, turns them away because baking a cake for them would mean that he is participating in and condoning their wedding.

Bob goes home after a successful day of being a christian and doing god's work (making shitty cakes and discriminating against people that aren't like him. Which is debatable considering that thing that Bob did that one time back in high school with Tricky Ricky), but Bob is appalled to see that his harlot of a wife (Mary Maggy) has bedded another man (Jude). The adulteress should clearly be put to death along with her lover, so Bob goes and gets his Glock 9mm and shoots them both dead in HIS bed. Then he grabs a beer and sits back to watch the game, Geaux Tigers!

Now, Mary Maggy's mom is (understandably) upset by ol' Bob's actions and decides to sue...Glock for their gun. Now, of course the local conservative groups come out in full force to argue that just because Glock manufactured the gun and sold it Bob, that doesn't mean that they condone murder or participated in it. I mean...duh!

Bob gets off scot-free and goes back to his bakery. When Lucy and Belle (2 clearly evil lesbians because "Lucy" is a lot like "Lucifer" and "Belle" could almost be "Beelzebub") come into his fine christian establishment to order a cake for their clearly immoral "wedding" next week. Bob of course tells them how his manufacturing of something for a purpose he doesn't condone, would mean he is a willing participant who condones it. And he can't have that because....Jesus.

The irony is lost on Bob.

Maybe Glock should go in to the cake making business?

They'd make a killing.

Consider

Surely Bob was wrongly released.
The analogy re adultery, partner choice, and murder is clearly-flawed.
Yes! this does happen, usually in a more subtle and deceiving way unfortunately.
