There is a direct correlation between a peron's ability to critically think and one's ability conceptualize eternity.

I need clarification on your statement...

Does it mean that if a person is good at critical thinking that eternity becomes a more concrete concept to believe in, or does it mean the reverse, that eternity becomes less of a concept and more about wishful thinking?

I would imagine the latter of the two would be true.

Anyone have any other thoughts?

I too couldn't understand what was trying to be conveyed since it doesn't say what kind of correlation, positive or negative, nor what kind of conceptualization of eternity, possibly meaning an eternal state of consciousness or a whole host of other potentialities concerning eternity to conceptualize.
