RE: Considering becoming a model builder again.
The aerial warfare thread reminded me of this. I have decided to seriously get back into modelling. Last night I paid a fortune for an airbrush and compressor.

I got this airbrush.

Over $400.00 AUD with shipping. I was kind of out of it. It is about the best in the world so I have to take this seriously.

The last time I built a model was 1999. I must practice. I am using this to improve my hands too as my writing is now shocking.

I have the full intention of doing this right. I am stuck at home so often I must do something.

Happily in this day there are youtube videos on the subject. Amazing.

Wish me luck.

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Is it bad that, at first glance, I thought this was a fancy schmancy dope smokin' pipe? Blush

Anyway...have fun with the models...and don't forget we will be needing pictures along the way.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

That's a beauty - I sure do love quality tools. Yes

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Yeah I have become serious. I just bought a Dremel tool with all the hardware for polishing and sanding. I am doing this right.

I still have plenty of tools but will learn what is new. I usually built WWII designs but now I want to build jets.

I will display them here when done. Smile

I have a Mig 19 in 1:32 scale. I just also bought an update cockpit for super detailing. It'll be huge! Great looking plane though.

Australia just bought 75 F35's. I'd like to build one of those too.

I must be careful though as I have a stack of unmade models already. Smile

A "stand-alone" would be fine, I'm already planning the diorama. (Some bits may be illegal in Missouri, however. Sad )
