RE: Cosmos: TONIGHT
I so want to watch this show but I can't access it in the UK which is annoying. Angry But I have a friend who can usually get anything so I'll have to see if he can get hold of it. (Finger crossed).

Religion definitely gets portrayed in a negative light, but I'm ok with it. It's not exactly false. Rep. Broun is calling evolution and big bang lies from the pit of hell...and he's on the house science committee.

I don't know if anyone else feels like this, but I swear every time I watch shows like this, or read a book about this, I'm in complete awe. The universe and evolution and everything inside and out of it is so f*cking awesome. I never felt so in awe with religion. And I kick myself when I remember that I used to think that an ever expanding universe/ multiverse was silly, but a snake telling a dirt man and rib woman to eat some fruit was serious business.

There is a movie in the IMAX now, that is just beautiful. Universe eye candy. Check it out.

Did Anyone Watch Cosmos?

Oh my science....I tried to read it. I really did. I had to stop after 'stupid science' and 'make believe'. I can only handle so much stupid at once....and that maxed me out for the week.

The religion of one age, is the literary entertainment of the next.

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you.
