Sorry that I'm late to this (I'm new to the forums). I'm a huge NDT fan and spent last Saturday at the Hayden Planetarium.

My recommendation: don't go to the Planetarium on the first warm-ish Saturday in a while. Unless you like mobs of screaming kids, of course. In which case, be my guest! Getting into the Planetarium show made me feel like Smaug invading the Lonely Mountain.
