Could 'Frankenstorm' be a sign from God?
http://www.wnd.com/2012/10/could-franken...at_orig=us

Quote:America’s eastern seaboard is in a state of emergency, stocking up on food and battening down the hatches as it anticipates a ferocious weather event some insurance companies would refer to as “an act of God.”

But could the “Frankenstorm” – the feared combined forces of a wintery land storm with Hurricane Sandy – actually be a message from the Almighty?

What's he trying to tell us?

The timing is interesting, right here before election day he's targeting DC....hhhhmmmmmm...

I'm not anti-social. I'm pro-solitude. Sleepy

Yeah, great fucking logic. String uncorrelated events together and claim a pattern exists. People like that might as well argue that God is telling them to stop using their legs for walking if he makes their ass cheeks chafe.

Here's a thought. Let's send someone out to survey the theists. Not the big name debators or even the pulpit preachers, but the everyday theists. Ask them (1) is it a sign from God, and (2) what does the sign say?

If they aren't in decent agreement on (2), say p < .05, then it's not a clear sign at all. Also, if most people are fundamentally unchanged in their opinions after having interpreted as a sign of what they already believe, then the sign did not reach its intended audience. To which I have to ask, wtf? Why does God do a poorer job of mass communication than Madison Avenue?

It's amazing how God's messages - in construct and in action - always seem to relay the exact same message: "Sometimes things happen, and sometimes they don't. I have fuck-all to do with any of it."

Through profound pain comes profound knowledge.

Apparently it's because the candidates are both "pro-gay."
