Is there not room for nuancing within the concept?
Some may choose to reflect on a God other than that designated by you
For a special non atheist you certainly have a lot to say to your nemisis, some of whom seem hesitant to offend you in the poll.

I'm off to the Cannabis Thread, that never lets me down!

Enjoy;maybe some 'fantsies' are more relaxing than others,
I see a serious Christian concept as more fitting to this forum.

No, it just makes no sense to ask people the question who think that Christian theology is silly and false and give them a way to express that opinion.

The purpose of the question was "Is Calvinism the sanest option for Christians?"

This is a "yes" or "no" question. Giving the person an option to vote other than "yes" or "no" doesn't help the integrity of the question.

It's kind like the opposite of a false dichotomy... giving too many options.

Of course an atheist is going to pick something other than "yes" or "no" if the option is presented because of their lack of belief in the basis of the question.

It skews the answers with irrelevance to the question that is being asked.
Rubbish, the question assumes some people have a little knowledge of Calvinism along with other views relating to Christianity, for or against.
You are making the extreme claim that Calvinism constitutes Christianity and many Christians find Calvinism abhorent..You cannot water down Christianity per se simply by restricting all opposing views to something other than what many hold personally as being the preferred Christian position.
I happen to like options; they help to provide open debate within larger parameters than simply working from the assumption that Calvinism defines Christianity, end of question!
