Creationist Sues the Grand Canyon for Religious Discrimination
Idiocy, thy name is religion.

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

Mikhail Bakunin.

I also love that the "Christian" flood myth is the one they go back to--even if their "studied" rocks were "proof" of a young earth--which Hobo (honestly, there aren't enough hobos Hobo ). What about all the flood myths from other cultures associated with the gods and stories of those cultures?

Major localized floods happen. If you are a primitive group of people who live in one corner of the earth, you may think the flood is "worldwide." People like to tell stories-it's part of the human make up-and myths develop. It happens in all cultures and belief systems, not just the Christian one Hobo

If there was a global flood 4000 years ago why aren't there grand canyons everywhere?

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

RE: Creationist Sues the Grand Canyon for Religious Discrimination
If you watch the video, he wasn't denied for being a Creationist, even though the (actual) scientists the park authorities contacted to vouch for his credentials pointed out that he was a Creationist. The reason the park denied him was because he failed to meet the requirements for approval of this permit, requirements which are listed on the website. Most importantly, they denied him because there's nothing special about the rocks he seeks, which require them to be taken from the park itself, though they offered him a chance to do a "reconaissance" tour (without removing samples) to look for any evidence he could submit that would show the research he needs to do can only be done in the national park. He declined, and filed a lawsuit, instead of taking advantage of the opportunity to show he needed to specifically use the park as the site of his research. It was more important that they play the martyrs and decry "secular" scientist persecution than to follow the rules that apply to literally anyone on the planet who wants to do research in the park.

There is no possible way an honest person could conclude that this is religious discrimination... and yet AiG did an entire show on exactly that premise.

What's that term, again? Oh yeah... Liars For Jesus™.

I'm hoping that the Grand Canyon countersues for defamation of character.

Need to think of a witty signature.

In related news, an organization called Creationist Religionists Against Pseudoscience (CRAP) have filed a religious discrimination lawsuit against reality. . . .
