Correct, but that's the wrong question. The question is what evidence supports the conclusion that there IS an intelligent designer. The double-slit doesn't lead to that.

No. You are, quite simply, completely wrong about what atheism is and how atheists typically view these questions.

blind faith? look, it can be typed without caps lock.
My eyes are wide open. Show me the money, show me this intelligent designer. Bring it to the table. I'm all eyes and ears.

It doesn't, and we don't.

We certainly don't have any faith on it, be it 20/20 vision or blind.

RE: ((( Critical Thinking is the Way )))
I don't know what you're talking about.

I have seen several attempts to explain what an Intelligent Designer is, and all have failed. Some quite spectacularly.

Most of the "good" ones would require what constitutes science to be redefined in a way so broadly that even astrology would fit under the definition, as one of ID's chief proponents, Dr. Michael Behe, admitted on the stand in the Kitzmiller trial.

That said, I am not against the notion of an intelligent designer (or some other force) being behind it all... but 1) it's not demonstrated to anything like a sufficient degree, and 2) it's an unnecessary leap to state that because there are elements we don't yet know, there must be something magical going on.

I am unwilling to substitute magic for unexplained phenomena. In addition, I am literally an expert on the subject and I can see where the assertions of several of these religiously-motivated (or motivated by the money given to them by the religiously motivated) individuals fall flat.

When a legitimate case is made for intelligent design or anything like it, the case will stand on its own.

As for now, it does not. Allow a Christian to tell you why that is so:

Here's a quick rundown (and JS correct me if I'm wrong on your views):

*He doesn't like holy water because it has bacteria in it.
*He doesn't like science because we are being led by blind faith.
*I don't think he's against evolution per se (although, I've skimmed a few of his posts). He doesn't think that evolution means there wasn't an intelligent designer.
*He's using the double-slit experiment to explain God.
*Oh and atheists are stupid. Hobo

He is OK with science when it supports his 'research'. Dodgy
But he doesn't like scientists (when they don't).

As RocDoc mentioned, he's agin evolution.

Critical of christians and atheists.

Just not in the way that you mean.

Here is one of many proofs that we share common ancestry with chimpanzees:

Are you smarter than the members of the National Institutes of Health, which contains publications by a great many winners of the Nobel Prize and is peer reviewed (scrutinized) by those same individuals, when they are not the author?

And how does that demonstrate no intelligent designer was involved in the process?

IT DOESN'T

However, you BLIND FAITH believe it does, correct?

RE: ((( Critical Thinking is the Way )))

Look, all I am advocating
is to keep a healthy open critical thinking mind
about the mysteries of the universe.

I personally feel new discoveries in consciousness
will eventually completely topple the Darwinian paradigm.
HOWEVER, I openly admit that I may be incorrect.

This is what it means to keep a healthy open mind.
Always being ready to find your are incorrect in your beliefs
