RE: Curiosity is landing soon!
This was on at 3:30 in the afternoon Australian time, so I was able to watch at work and the kids at home. Good stuff.

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.

He means it's restored his faith in Martian humanity. Unsure Ok, maybe not quite faith.

I'm here biting my nails hoping everything works! It's make or break time.

It will be awesome getting high definition footage and panoramic views of Mars.

This rover makes the old ones look like cheap junk. The scientific instruments combined with being nuclear powered (for lots of grunt and uninterrupted operation day and night)

It's just mind blowing... What this little vehicle is capable of.

Just another NASA fake. You know there's proof that all those "Mars" photos were taken in the Australian outback.Yes

What a scam. All those "scientists" livin' large off the 'funding'.Dodgy

I told you so!

Love this part:

THE STARTLING PROOF!

Who took these photos?

This is supposed to be the Mars rover “Curiosity” on the surface of the planet, but who took the shot? Is it a fake? Yes it is…!

And what about this? Another fake!

These images were beamed to people all over the world as “actual footage” of the Mars rover descending without a hitch to the surface of the planet, and within one fiftieth of a second of its scheduled arrival time according to so-called “NASA Scientists.”

PARACHUTES DON’T WORK IN OUTER SPACE!

Consider this. NASA scientists say they used a parachute to land a one tonne vehicle on Mars. (Yeah sure.)

Furthermore, Mars has 0.6% of the atmosphere of earth. Call it no atmosphere, a vacuum. Parachutes won’t fucking work. Am I stupid?

Uh, yes. Yes you are. Very.

That website is like the onion. The disclaimer says: "The contents of this blog are entirely fictional (and often ridiculous), and intended for entertainment purposes only."

The statements were so stupid that I just had to find out if they were real or fake. This is another case for Poe's Law.

Poe's Law as it applies to your understanding of my post?
