RE: D&D In Character Thread
You hurry back to the room and quickly shut the door, however you excursion has now alerted the villagers to your presence and they all seem to be converging on your location. You manage to get the door closed and locked as the mob reaches it. From outside you hear them pounding on it and screaming in rage. The door shudders and after a few blows shatters. The hallway is filled with villagers all moving towards you, the ones in front are still kicking out the remains of the door so you have a moment to prepare before they are upon you.

Groh'l Milfa and Isia actions please. Alternately I could use the Helms Deep rules set and just roll 1 massive combat and see what happens.

RE: D&D In Character Thread
*Groh'L will place himself to the left of the door, using the shield in his left hand to try to keep people from getting in through that flank so that his mace, and Isia's & Milfa's attacks, bare down roughly in the same spot, to his right*

"Kill 'em all, ladies! As many in the doorway as we can! We can hope their dead, and unconscious, begin building a barricade all it's own they have to crawl over!"

*Groh'L will attack until there is nothing left to mace in the face, or until he dies*

RE: D&D In Character Thread
Milfa draws out her short bladed weapon.

"I've been waiting to use this. Good idea Groh'L with the barricade of bodies. We can easily handle one or even three at a time, especially if they are stumbling. We just need to time ourselves to attack whenever and wherever there is space to."

Milfa continues to attack focusing on any target looking like it might slip through the door.

RE: D&D In Character Thread
*Groh'L acknowledges Milfa with a nod, and yells out in the old language*

"R'holor, please! Summon us up some MonsterI Aid! We need your help, R'holor, or you may lose your champions in this region!"

Groh'l summons a Giant Fire Beetle

Milfa Hits the closest villager for 4 Damage

Villager goes down in a bloody heap

Isia Misses Her Target

4 villager manage to get into the room, none manage to score a hit.

Rhylor smiles at Groh'l's request and sends one of his giant fire beetles to aid his cleric. While the Beetle is materialising Milfa manages to down one of the villagers with a well trust dagger. Isia however is unable to score a hit and several of the villagers manage to get through the door. The Doorway is now blocked by the beetle but 4 insane villagers are now in the small room with you.

Milfa sings a battle cry from one of her songs and thrusts again with her short sword at the closest villager in the room.

"Praise be His name, R'holor works in mysterious ways!"

"Milf..."

*Groh'L notices Milfa singing, and hopes she has not lost her mind*

"Isia! If we get out of here remind me never to stomp on any more beetles, ever again!"

*Groh'L attacks the nearest of the enemies that has yet to recieve damage*

Milfa Hits Insane Villager for 3 Damage

Insane Villager collapse in a bloody heap

Isia Misses Insane Villager but Hits Groh'l for 4 Damage

Groh'l Hits Insane Villager for 6 Damage

Insane Villager goes down in a bloody heap

Giant Fire Beetle Hits Insane Villager (in hallway) for 6 Damage

Insane Villager collapse in a bloody heap

Insane Villager Hits Groh'l for 4 Damage

Insane Villager Misses Milfa

Milfa deftly stabs another of the villagers downing them easily. Isia however trips over the body of one of the downed villagers and misses her target sinking her blade into Groh'l instead. Groh'l manages to shrug off the pain before bashing another villager in the head. As the Giant Fire Beetle takes a bite out of one of the Villagers in the hallway Groh'l takes a nasty blow to the face. 2 insane villagers remain in the room but no more manage to slip past the beetle.
