Dagon ate Jesus?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dagon

I've read that his symbol is the Jesus fish we see today...so, now that we know this, does anyone get a mental image of Dagon eating Jesus like that looney big fish story?

RE: Dagon ate Jesus?
The Chritian religion seems to come from all different sources and times.
It's as if they just put it together from the remnants of multiple past religions.
That because it's exacltly what they did. It doesn't just appear that way, it is that way.
There isn't one original idea in the entire belief.

The old gods are dead, let's invent some new ones before something really bad happens.

The Xtian fishy is an acronym. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichthys .
I DO like the siton part though. Reminds me of my last birthday card from St. Coochie.
