Dating problems

So I don't know if you would consider this relevant to the subject, but it is a struggle that I have in our relationship.
I'm looking for serious answers.

So every time a holiday or a gift-worthy day comes up, I never know what to get my boyfriend.
Lately I've been making him things because I don't have any money, but I mean do guys like that sort of thing or is he just pretending to?
I've made him a deck of cards gift, where I wrote 52 things that I like about him.
I've also painted him photos.

But for our 3 month anniversary/Valentines Day/late birthday present, I wanted to make him a scrapbook, custom tshirt, and a mix CD.
What are your thoughts?

You can't generalise what guys like; it is simply unfair to both parties to assume I would like what he would like, or vice versa.
If you are so nervous about your gifts, just ask him. Tell him to be honest if you have too.

I am not a romantic by any stretch of the imagination, so it all comes down to you. Take a chill pill and relax, things will sort themselves out if you just give them a shove in the right direction.

Gifts are your chance to show him you care enough to know something about him and what he likes. It doesn't need to be something he likes just something that shows you know what his interests are.

After seeing these replies, I think that I'm going to stay with my gift ideas.
Who knows, maybe he's into cute stuff like that and maybe the though does count to him.
We'll see.
