Debate tips?
I need some pointers or resources to teach me how to debate. Not necessarily about theism or atheism, just about anything. I'm the type of person who thinks of everything I should have said way after the conversation. Confused Any advice?

RE: Debate tips?
A common debating tactic is screaming over the other person. Works for a lot of creationists and bar room debaters I know.

Ignore the other debaters existence and if possible interrupt anything they say. Make non-sequitor statements and do not explain them. Basically use your force of personality to bulldoze them into submission. But most importantly whenever they make a point you cannot counter respond with how insulting such a position is to a person of your culture/race/nationality/religion and refuse to move forward until they retract and apologise for the statement. /end sarcasm

Like the above says, if everything else fails (or you just feel like it) make them feel dumb.
Use lines such as

"well, everyone knows"
"the majority agrees"
"it's a well known fact"
"I had assumed you already knew"
"everyone will tell you"

Stuff like that.
