In a practical sense, reality is what evolution equipped us to deal with for our own survival and benefit. We therefore can understand reality by understanding our own adaptations, which are on-going. We should not be paralyzed by trying to define it too closely, and we should not jump to conclusions.

In other words, if we don't deal with reality, it deals with us. By such feedback, reality tells us what it is, and we learn more about it that way all the time.

As far as less practical realities go, I leave that to the scientists rather than to the philosophers. The philosophers have disappointed me many times. That's feedback too.

Get real, RobValue. Seems like you're not the least bit interested in discussing reality; but rather, just enough to justify your preconceived notions about what theists believe. Until you start to stand on your own for what you believe about reality, regardless of what theists think, then no one will take you and your silly video collection of amateurish hack philosophy seriously.

Seems like another trollish revenant decided to grace us with his presence.

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

Oh yeah, Szuchow. The moment someone struts in here talking about how much he loves philosophy (or what a deep thinker he is), I already know where we're headed.

Some of us enjoy watching Robvalue's videos. And why should philosophy students try to browbeat others? We've seen that before. It ends badly.
