Desktop Thread
I thought this might spruce the place up a bit, let's have a desktop thread! Just take a screen cap of your desktop and post it here and be sure to comment on other people's desktops, see if we can't get some sort of conversation going.

For those who don't know how to screen cap, here is a simple step by step guide:

1. Press the "Prnt Scrn" button on your keyboard, usually between the alpha numeric keys and the num pad, above the arrows.

2. Open Paint.

3. Press ctrl+v

4. Save the image

5. Upload and post it on TTA

6. ????

7. PROFIT!

Sounds like a plan? Good, here is mine, comment away! Smile

Desktop picture link since desktops are too big to post straight in without stretching the screen

I'm tempted to make it my avatar...

RE: Desktop Thread
You people sure like the USA if you put an image of it as your desktop.
BTW, I have a quick question about the USA.
What does your flag mean? I mean, take a look at our flag:

The Magen David (I'm not sure how it's called in English, but translating "Magen David" into English means "The shield of David") is derived from our bible, which means that Israel is a country for all of the Jews, and it has the Judaism values.

Now, what does the USA flag mean?

Well, most Americans are fairly patriotic (it comes with us having such huge egos; any place we live must be awesome, right?), but that picture isn't actually about America. It's from the Fallout video game series, which is set in a post-apocalyptic America.

Pretty simple, really. The flag has thirteen stripes, which represent the original thirteen colonies which rebelled against British rule. The "union", the blue square in the upper left, has fifty stars, representing the current fifty states. Red, white, and blue were chosen more out of simplicity than anything else. Since the thirteen colonies were originally British settlements, and the British flag used red, white, and blue, we went with that. The design has been updated over the years as more states were added. You can see a list of the designs here.
