RE: Did Jesus survived the crucifixion?
Most likely it never happened at all.

What else do you wanna know?

So maybe Jesus was never taken down from the cross as indicated by the gospels ? That's a interesting theory. Crucifixion victims were rarely taken down from the cross. That's why evidence of crucifixion is very rare.

There are historians who think the Romans crucified between 10,000 to 50,000 people and some go even higher. Heck-sakes, there were 6000 people crucified in the Spartacus saga alone. The Romans had it down to a science. They reused the nails and and the wood. They most likely had the upright permanently stuck in the ground and the cross beam was carried by the criminal to the sight.

Thus far the skelatel remains of just one crucified person has been found, out of the thousands killed in this manner. If the Romans allowed people, Jews and others, to retrieve the bodies of their family members off the cross and bury them there probably would be many more crucified victims found.

Christians really piss me off. Many of them are so ignorant that they actually think Jesus was the only person ever crucified. It never occurs to them that thousands of people were also beaten, crucified and left to die a slow agonizing death. Their guy wasn't all too special. Christians....a bunch of idiots. Dodgy

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Don't know if it happened but don't think it did. What I think is so sad is that most christians have no clue that there is much better evidence they are wrong. That is what happens when you only read one side of something. Even if it did happen, that doesn't ptove sny of the claims christians think are so air-tight.

RE: Did Jesus survived the crucifixion?
I voted that he never existed, even if he did he wasn't the Jesus of the Bible with the virgin birth, walking on water, etc. so that Jesus was a fantasy pure and simple. Even if he was crucified as described in the Bible with the beatings and torture first and then having to carry the cross he could've very well bled out and died on the cross if he was also nailed to it instead of being tied. Even people who are very devout in other countries will allow themselves to be nailed to a cross for a few hours to see what it's like but they don't die, but if they were brutally beaten and stabbed first maybe.

Even if he did somehow survive, how did he get out of the tomb? Well I think we all know that part:

Jesus was stabbed with a spear according to John after his "death" but we don't know how profound the wound really was. Jesus was scourged according to the gospels but scourging was the standard procedure before crucifixions and still the victims took a very long time to die on the cross. Much longer than the bible claims Jesus did. Jesus was put in a tomb by Joseph of arimathea a rich man. This detail is very odd indeed.

However, we also know that grave robbing was a capital offense. If there was a missing body, why do the Romans not give a shit when the disciples went public? They didn't give a crap about these men according to Acts. If there was really a missing body of a man executed for usurping, then shouldn't Pilate have been interested? They were provlaiming the body was missing and would have been the prime suspects.

Unless there was no body, or the story in Acts didn't happen like that at all.

I doubt he even existed.

Jesus is the best April fools joke.

Unfortunately, some people didn't find it funny and made a religion up just to spite the jokers.

It's hard to determine which part is myth or real if it even happened. The whole spear-piercing thing was just another attempt to make the story match one of their contrived prophecies.

Not only did he survive, he went on to play the Green Goblin in that Spiderman movie.

Don't let those gnomes and their illusions get you down. They're just gnomes and illusions.
