Did the geneticists find the "gay gene"?
I thought I had heard something about a "gay gene" but wasn't sure if it were something actually discovered, or more theoretical. Anyone have info on this?

RE: Did the geneticists find the "gay gene"?
I have heard of the illusive "gay gene", but everything I can find (after a preliminary search), refers to the gene, not actually existing.
However, by some things I have read have stated homosexuality has to do with "epi-marks", which control how genes are expressed. A more detailed search than mine is necessary. I see. The article I found was old [1995]. Just in a debate with someone on the topic, but I am not in my element on the topic. It doesn't help that the religious person is SO abusive in the personal attacks. Oh well. Thanks.

If you are arguing the case for homosexuality being natural, there are many species which exhibit same-sex tendencies .

Interesting link. However this guy I'm debating is the typical "know it all, arrogant, dick" type christian who choses to use personal attacks to make himself feel power in a debate. It is "playground bullying", but there is no reaching a person like that.

The same colour blood just pass through our veins and tears taste the same when they splash on your face. Cant separate and still carry the weight, gotta heal get away from the fear and the hate. Gotta shake free from them chains, you see what remains, just a human being at the end of the day. |
