Dinner with Historic Figures
Who would you like to sit down to dinner (and drinks) with from history??

Given a time machine and a open bar tab -- I'd have to choose --- (we can assume that you'll have a Babelfish in your ear -- so language limitations won't apply)..

Mark Twain
George Carlin
Lucille Ball
Winston Churchill
Douglas Adams

I'm betting it would be entertaining......

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

No one historic but I would love to be able to talk to my grandparents to ask the questions I didn't ask when they were alive.

I would like to know why grandpa left Germany and so many other questions for all four of them. Undecided

RE: Dinner with Historic Figures
Muhammad Ali (hypothetically being physically capable and able to)
Marlon Brando
Jim Morrison
Kurt Vonnegut
George Orwell
Joe Frazier

It'd be pretty memorable, to say the least. Maybe not so peaceful. Why Ali and Frazier? Well, Ali is a cultural icon that transcends just boxing. I threw in Joe Frazier as a contrast, but because they were arch rivals during their boxing haydays there likely would be some tension, but the entertainment would be there. Jim Morrison? Yeah, he'd probably be drunk off his ass and slurring his words, emitting some kind of weird, LSD-infused psychobabble, but damn it, I want to dine with the Lizard King! As for Marlon Brando, he had an insane appetite. I'd like to challenge him to an "eat off".
