But who wants to watch shows about fish?

Wait...are you trying to tell me I can no longer go onto the Science channel and see a wonderful documentary about how Mermaids are real?

If mermaids aren't real then how do you explain this?

At first the History Channel was nothing but refighting WW II and now it is Pawn Shop Stars. It really sucks. Oh, I forgot, we watch Al Jazeera.

Yeah good look with that one soon. Al Jazeera TV is shutting down in April now. I guess they couldn't last as a source and be better than CurrentTV afterall. I did occasionally watch it as it was something that accurately fits the label news.

So has any noticable programs aired yet in this new year of new programming for Discovery Channel or their subsets? I've yet to see any difference on the Science channel but mostly marathons of How it's made and How we blow stuff up the show. Only really 11PM-3AM is when I notice something of decent worth on the channel. I hope it actually improves. History2 used to be that way initially then it dropped all of the former History International like programming for it's reality show fest. I hope discovery is honestly doing something differently here.

They just aired a show on the History Channel on WWI trench warfare and new archeology uncovering the works, really well done.

I'm not saying the history channel was taken over by Aliens...but it was...
