Thank you very much, friend! Your beautiful comment has shown me, what you got to read through all the complicated, spiritual text. So, I am doing the progress in sense-making. Thumbsup

I plan on approaching with, " What do you believe and why?. Why should I believe it?" Finally, I have some good arguments too incase they're needed. I will of course be open minded, but I don't want to get tricked either. Any advice?

It is not easy to influence a theist. But try ask him this Biblical question, please:

"How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" (John 6:52 KJV).

If he is not from Eastern Orthodox Church, he would say "oh, this has only a spiritual meaning." But if he is from the Catholic theism, then ask this question:
why do you not have the blood? See: "Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood..." John 6:53 KJV.

But be very polite. Let the human start his journey to the Verity, to the True Church.

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

RE: Discussion with a Christian
Borg does bring up a good point with his flesh and blood argument. Christianity is a cult of human sacrifice and cannabilism . A death cult. That fact can be thrown up at the preacher if you find it morally reprehensible. "Born sick and commanded to be well" is a sick thing to teach children. Teaching children to "bathe in the blood" is never a good idea. If Jesus were here today dying on the cross with blood pouring out of the hole in his side these demented fools would push each other out of the way to take a shower in his blood. They would make no attempt to save him.

Please tell me this is NOT available in child sizes. There are some men of God out there who might, erm, take it the wrong way.

If they think him dying is the key to universal access to salvation, and if they saw someone attempting to save him, wouldn't the only moral thing to do be killing Jesus off themselves?

You mean like the Levite massacre? Your recall of scripture is obviously faulty. Fucktard.

The Verity...

Sounds almost... Veridican.

It may be a stretch, but if Gordo were to reinvent himself here or perhaps have a Facepalm follower... I know it's a stretch but there are many misguided fools in the world...

Just thinking out loud....or whatever the equivalent of that is on the internet...

Carry on.

What has it come to when Gordo is preferable to theBorg? Weeping

YES!!! Yes, yes, yes! This is the single most depraved, sick, mentally ill aspect of christianity. As a child I was always told by people who loved me that I was wonderful and fantastic and that I was born to be this way and it's stayed with me all my life. To have loved ones tell you you're born a sinner is sadistic and then to pound into a child's brain that the only way to overcome this horrible infliction is to prostrate yourself before a bloody symbol of an event that's is entirely based on hearsay is ridiculous. It's an enormous lie.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

This is not the way to deal with the good Pastor. He just turns around and walks away, saying to the parents: your child is not ready (pray for him).
Your only option is to show the Pastor the real Truth. The Truth is not the atheism, the atheism will bounce off the Pastor. After the Pastor would see the Truth, he will decide to Love or to Hate. Please guide him to Love.
