You had me on ignore the other day when you sent me that PM threatening to "cold cok" me (which is against the rules to make threats but Stark has been a bit of a bitch lately so I don't think anything would come of it) and yet you responded to me anyway in a couple different threads. So.. there's that.

An Atheist at Christmastime

Cute blog, good explanation.

We have enough youth. How about looking for the Fountain of Smart?

I sure do.....I celebrate tree decorating, cookie baking, gifts for my love ones, cooking as an act of appreciation and a time to stop reflect and justify booze in my morning coffee Confused

RE: Do Atheists Celebrate Christmas?
I celebrate Christmas.

I love the feeling that comes over me when I give to my friends. Receiving gifts is always good, but as I have aged I find the giving to be far more enjoyable. BTW, liquor store is an easy one-shop-stop. (No kids to buy for)

I can attribute a lot of my feelings for the holiday to my father. He would always be up early on the weekend before Christmas making the house festive. He loved the lights and the way it made his son happy to help decorate the tree.

I always miss him terribly this time of year, but that's another story.
