I doubt that he will be quickly removed from the office. As for disaster time will tell I suppose.

I am not accountable to any God. I am accountable to myself - and not because I think I am God as some theists would try to assert - but because, no matter what actions I take, thoughts I think, or words I utter, I have to be able to live with myself.

I don't vote in your country. I really didn't like either of the candidate choices you had. The only thing I liked about Trump is he is anti establishment. Occasionally watching him on tv he's a fucking arsehole. I'm against the politicians on both sides of the center. I think he can stir up things and operate outside the norm. One thing you can say is he used his own money for his campaign. Nobody owns him. I really hope he does a good job for you all. Remember in the end when USA sneezes Canadians get the cold. My best wishes to him. The alternative was another 4 or 8 years of out of control spending. In Canada, the liberals said they would have a 10 billion debt and balanced budget in 3 years. Now it's 1 trillion of debt and no balanced budget until 2051. Each man, woman and child in Canada owes 40 thousand in debt. My children to say the least are fucked. JOE Trudeau is out of control with his spending and the only way to get it back is to raise taxes. Aren't they already high enough. I'm anti establishment. I think they are all fucking liars and should be held more accountable to tax payers for terrible decisions. In Canada now the liberals introduced a motion m103. It's basically a blasphemy rule. We're turning into a total socialist society. Nibble by nibble they erode our values.

Oh yeah, enough is enough on the Ferry vs fairy typo. Mistake on my part for typing so fast on my iPad. I should have proof read before posting. I love America. Wish I was one.

What exactly is "total socialist society"? I somehow doubt that liberals want to change Canada into a system of society or group living in which there is no private property. Alternatively Canada and most of the world I suppose already are socialist with unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done.

And we can currently see how well having a cluster of novices around him is working.

Factually incorrect.

Here it is from Trump's own website, Oct 2016: DONALD J. TRUMP CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES $100 MILLION HAUL, A NEW FUNDRAISING RECORD

As far as who owns him, that is already clear: The Russians.

To this, I agree. I haven't seen the debate though (it was shown live on TV but I was busy doing other things) and don't know enough about it to comment one way or another.

Like your snow plowed? Like your roads built? Like your schools operated? Like your hospitals run? Like your military working? That's all socialism.

Insert Mordin Solus voice here: Have to ask, do you always believe what politicians tell you they are?

They say, actions speak louder than words. Look at his cabinet picks - wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

This is the sort of ridiculous idealistic thought process that gets us into these messes. Politics is a necessary part of government. You can't separate if from a government run by the people through elected representation. Sure, the establishments need upsets and shakedowns occasionally so that they don't lose sight of who they should be serving. Trump is not going to effectively provide that upset. Bernie did provide that upset, regardless of whether he won the primary or not.

Trump, though, is only making the republican establishment look more sane and controlled. He's not going to make things better. But he might make his party them stronger and more united as soon as they unite against him. But they won't do that until they feel like they can capture all of his voters in the next elections.

In the mean time, Trump is just lying about shit day after day. To the point that even FNC is calling him out on it!

And his press conferences highlight is glaring ignorance:

He's just not going to help things. For anyone. He has no damn clue what he's doing. And he has to be handled by his staffers like he's a toddler on the brink of a tantrum.
