Do you Jack O' Lantern?
So I'm a novice, but I take some pride and joy (Girly?) in my art, and my kid is of the age that he needs a good Halloween pumpkin. Here's my effort this year, you might be able to guess what the little guy is into.

Using a flickering tea light so it's hard to get a crisp picture, especially on a phone camera.
You got any good pumpkin carving to share for All Hallows Eve?

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

RE: Do you Jack O' Lantern?
I used to be big into halloween but it's barely there this year.
I think part of it comes from my town only having rotten pumpkins for sale. No one is buying them really. It's such a waste. We have a pumpkin patch one town over. I can't get there so I rely on the intelligence of grocery stores to get them for me and then I would pay an overhead... But instead they buy pumpkins from afar that are already rotten.

We finally grabbed one out of desperation two days ago and even though it's already practically mush I refuse to toss it. One more day. Just one more.

I suck at carving though. Best I've done was boogie from Nightmare. It was ok.

Nice skills though dude or dudette.

Nice work, EH.

I confess I don't know what you were aiming for but I think I can see the face of jesus on the second pic.

But that detracts not from the obvious show of talent.

These are awesome! Ohmy
Great job!

I wish we had Halloween here and all that pumpkin-carving stuff, but I'm afraid we hardly have pumpkins here lol.

I never had pumpkins when I was a kid, and never made a jackolantern, but a couple of years ago I got a pumpkin for the first time and made one. I think I'll do another today actually, some home dramas allowing xD

I went more for the detailed face route:

(I don't know what year this one is from, but it's either 2013 or 2012 for sure coz thats the only year I did one xD )

That's great! I haven't had the nerve to try the detailed look yet but I want to.

RE: Do you Jack O' Lantern?
wow, those look ahhh-mazing!
I'm boring, I won't bother presenting my lame pumpkin with two triangle eyes, a nose and a jagged mouth. lol!

What's cool are all the carving kits...the patterns to help people like me to do something creative.

Great work even, and ceta!
