But when the night shifts return, so does the coffee.

I've managed to avoid energy drinks and other crap like that which seems to be gaining popularity, however. The only exception was on deployment. But what soldier didn't get addicted to Rip It when 2 hours of sleep was a good night?

I have the potential to be addicted to sweets, which is why I've almost cut them out completely rather than trying to take the "in moderation" route. If I eat ice cream, for example, I'm not having a bowl I'm having half the carton. So... I just avoid it. A piece of cake here and there on someone's birthday. Aside from that, I treat sugar and all other sweeteners as if they were poison.

The only reason I considered giving up caffeine is because it kind of defeats my yoga practice where I get all relaxed and zen and shit. But I am really tired from not having it and I've got one massive headache Sad

I have control over chocolatey things--but not much over tortilla chips (especially homemade ones like at the mexican restaurant down the street from me) and guacamole.

I can eat the hell out of guacamole. But I don't consider that a vice since it's just a mixture of fruit and vegetables and, if I'm the one who makes it, enough garlic that nobody wants to stay in the same room with me for a day or two.

I don't have any vices - by my own standards...if other people consider them vices, that's not my concern.

That just leaves binge drinking, porn, excessive masturbation, f***'ing cussing, lusting after sexy women, narcissism, hot wings, peanut butter (excluding uses during kinky sex per thread above), stupid time-wasting video games, staring at (admiring, not necessarily the same as lusting after) a beautifully shaped ass (in reference to human anatomy, not a donkey), coffee, procrastinating, voyeurism, exhibitionism, inappropriate over-sharing of personal information on internet forums, and... I'm sure there are others but that's all I can think of for now.

Drinking Beverage

EDIT 1: Ooh... I forgot yelling at idiots (i.e., other drivers, and anyone who disagrees with me).
EDIT 2: Thanks, Beans, I guess sloth is in there too. With all my other vices, you'd think it would be hard to find time to just sit and do nothing. But, no, I am quite capable of doing so. Especially if there is laundry to be done or dishes in the sink.

Do dishes and masturbate at the same time...it's more efficient Big Grin

Sounds complicated. Maybe you could send me a "how-to" video...? Tongue

I just wanted to let you know that I love you even though you aren't naked right now. Heart

Guacamole Drooling I don't consider that bad--but eating mass quantities of tortilla chips with it isn't exactly the healthiest of things unfortunately Sad This one restaurant I mentioned that is near me--their chips and guac--it is heavenly (for lack of a better word Angel ) I want some now!

The solution is to try and pile as much guacamole as you possibly can onto each individual chip.

Good thinking Thumbsup I'll have to try that. So use a tortilla chip like a shovel Consider

Yeah most people have it backwards. You shouldn't use a little guacamole to make the chip taste better, you should use the chip as a vehicle to transport the guacamole from the bowl into your mouth and perhaps to give you something to chew on for a couple seconds so you don't fall into the habit of just drinking the guacamole.
