Okay, let's see. On the one hand we have this:

But waking up to birds of any description is great. At least in my book Yes

You call that a magpie?

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

Actually, I was wondering which ones you have over there. The one in your clip is obviously called an Australian magpie (as I just found out half an hour ago). The nightingale is still betterWink

Yeah, I'm quite partial to them and to me they have the best song, esp. in the middle of the night, when everything's gone quiet.
But birds in general are such funny creatures Yes

I used to own one of these:

Unfortunately, it got lost some time ago during a move, and I haven't been able to find a replacement -- most likely, they're out of production. If I can ever find one again, I'll buy it in a heartbeat. I loved that watch, it was beautiful.

My current watch looks nearly identical to this one:

The only difference being that the bezel rotates and has ten-minute intervals all around the circle.

I want to buy one of these:

But they're pricey, and I haven't been able to justify the expense yet -- other more immediate priorities.

I prefer chronographs.

Well, what do you know... after all those years of searching, I've found a place that sells my Pictowatch. Nice little early Christmas gift for myself this year. :-)

Chronographs? They're not my style... as my preferences above show, I like something that looks more minimalist and artistic. But de gustibus non est disputandum, and all that. Smile

Dayum Chaswick, I think I may have to rob your collection. Looks like we have the same taste in time pieces!

So many cats, so few good recipes.
