Do your dogs eat wasps?
Mine do. Paper wasps. The kind that hurt... really badly.

For some reason, my two goofballs eats them. They actively chase them down and snatch them out of the air. I know they have to get stung inside their mouths but don't seem to care. I wonder if they like the sting? Like it gets them high or something.

Oh, and pics of the dogs:

My dog used to, bees too. If it buzzed near him, he'd eat it. Oddly he didn't seem to like the taste of flies.

Now he's old and doesn't seem to give a shit. There was a squirrel in the tree right by our deck and the dog was just a few feet away sleeping in the sun.

We have a bush outside that would be covered in bees.

The dumb dog acted like it was a buffet. Hobo

I don't allow it. They don't do it. I teach them as pups when they first go outside, I keep them on a leash and guide them through all the do's and don'ts. Eating insects, frogs and lizards are don'ts. They are to be ignored.

I once had a dog get bitten on the snoot and it swelled up so bad he could not breathe through his nose. Also, we have some poisonous spiders around here. It's easy to teach them to leave the creepy crawlies alone if done right away.

My Maltese absolutely loves moths, but practically pees on the spot if a June bug flies near.

My Golden Retriever, Harvey, snaps at anything that gets too close. He kills the odd wasp or bee but doesn't eat them.
