RE: Documentary: Ancient Aliens Debunked
I initially didn't think the filmmaker had an ulterior motive for making the documentary. But having looked into the his background a little more, I believe he in fact did have one, a very devious one. This website states Mr. White "is a fundamentalist Christian and conspiracy theorist." The filmmaker's own website is the most damning evidence. The "Beliefs" section mentions his affirming views of god, Jesus, and the Rapture, which is his right as a religious person. However, it goes on to state the following:

Quote:We believe that the belief in the so called “New World Order” is biblical, and that those behind it are united not by any particular organization or race, but by various degrees of satanic worship. Their ultimate goal is to set up a system which the “anti-christ” will preside over, and it will be from that platform that he will try to force the world to worship him.

We also honestly believe that at this point Satan does not care if people know about the nuts and bolts of the “new world order” system, because he seems to use this knowledge to get people indoctrinated into the “new age”,which is a mindset that will help pave the way for his acceptance.

When someone starts spouting this kind of crap, their credibility and or objectiveness flies out the window as far as I'm concerned. I still give the film high marks because he took the time to list all of his sources. However, it is very transparent now why he made the film.

So aliens DID do it. I knew it!

Blocks that our current technology today would struggle to move.

They say it took around 30 years to build... so 365 days times 30 years = 10950 days.

2.3 million blocks divided by 10950 days (happy now poolboy Big Grin ) = 210 blocks per day.... put into place and cut with such precision it baffles modern architects

Ive heard theories that state that they used figs trees to "roll" these huge massive stones, some from as far away as 500 miles.... yet these figs would of been needed to feed the apparent huge workforce... paradoxal.

Sorry if people disagree but I call bullshit..... maybe not aliens that built it, but maybe an ancient civilisation did... I dunno.

It wasnt us lol.

"Sorry if people disagree but I call bullshit..... maybe not aliens that built it, but maybe an ancient civilisation did..."

Yes, it was called Ancient Egypt...

I hardly think it's unreasonable to imagine the Egyptians making such things.
This was the most advanced civilization of the time much like Greece or Rome for their respected times.
Much like any civilization in human history they were extremely religious and these pyramids had a religious purpose.
The Nile is/was extremely fertile. Food would have been plentiful (when not in a drought) and it's very likely much could have been left over. This would lead to specialization which in turn would free up citizens for work on the pyramids.

Most of the blocks are at the bottom (because it's a pyramid...) which is also the largest space. You could have 100 teams of people dragging blocks into place at any one time. Compacted dirt ramps all the way around (they're building a large stone pyramid, they can build a large dirt ramp). Not to mention the help of animals to help pull blocks. They'd be very fit, very strong, they'd be very skilled at it which would speed the process up. Perhaps a bit of friendly competition.

They'd also get very good at carving out the stone blocks. Wetting wooden wedges to expand the wood would make cutting the blocks out a pretty speedy process. They'd also get very good at it, speeding up the process.

I imagine it would have been an extremely busy, active place. Building the pyramid would have been peoples whole lives.

Plus, Egyptians were the absolute masters of building large stone things. They would have picked up a technique or two...

As for people all around the world doing the same? I assume you mean the Aztecs? Well there is a hell of a lot similarities between historical cultures that never met each other. When your God is the sun or moon then it's only natural that you wanna be as close to them as possible.

edit: oh and there's the obvious that 20years is wrong.

Everyone knows aliens are only interested in dissecting cows, yard art, and investigating the wonders of the human anus. There is no way they would bother stacking rocks.

If I was an alien who had seen some of the human ladies in the porn industry, I would have an interest in anal probing as well.

I definitely believe that there is life outside of the Earth, the size of the universe and amount of potential habitable planets is just to big to believe the Earth is the only one with life. I doubt however that aliens actually visited Earth to help us build random structures.

RE: Documentary: Ancient Aliens Debunked
I love Ancient Aliens, it's good entertainment and I tend to applaud the show every time it says "people mistaken or misinterpreted for gods and/or angels". Regardless of whether they did a good job validating their theories, they're still opening the eyes of an audience that would take the holy books literally.

Doesn't really matter how you get there, as long as it helps "casual" theists take a step towards atheism by starting to question the scriptures.

The Debunked documentary is a whole other problem now. It's easy to counter a theory with more arguments and go back to square one where anything else is possible. Also, Chris White No I did some youtube browsing a few months back and was baffled by the number of Christian talkers trying to shamelessly take the ancient alien theory into their own agenda.

First of all, you're all wrong, everything was obviously done by the Atlanteans.

Jokes aside, anyone who thinks that it's unlikely for aliens to have visited earth needs to go take a crash course in the Fermi paradox.

That's fine, but there is no evidence that we have been visited.
