If you believe, please post here, because I have questions. I hope you have answers.

I certainly do believe it was an historic event. Ask your questions, I hope I can answer.

Do you really? There is no evidence of a world-wide flood.

Nothing about the story is credible.

This should be over fairly quickly, hold on tight folks. Yes

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Dude, go to post #3 on this thread, read the paper hyperlinked, take a few moments to watch the short video. Once that is done please provide a coherent refute of the math and the science so we can discuss it in more depth (pun intended). Or is this going to devolve into "God said it, it's in the Bible, I believe it, the end"? Drinking Beverage

Precisely. You live by myth?

Not exactly. I try to differentiate between the two without the emotional attachment.

The story of Noah was plagiarized (along with a number of other tales) from the ancient Sumerian tale, The Epic of Gligamesh.

This better be a damned good question whenever Dark Phoenix gets around to asking it, or I'm going to be pissed!

Ahhhh . . . G. You know? If you have an accurate date of the Pentatuech, and compare the earliest manuscripts of the aforementioned Epic Alexandria, you might want to give that bit of propaganda a second thought.

What is the earliest manuscript of Gilgamesh (not that there weren't earlier manuscritps, but [Laughs] given the current atheist speculation at least that)?

Huh? You been spoon fed.
