You can't prove that those aren't real. Checkmate.

If Jesus was fictional, there never was a body.

If Jesus was real and was crucified by the Romans, they almost certainly just let him rot on the cross for a week or two and then threw the body into a mass grave along with the bodies of other executed criminals. (I think it rather unlikely that they would have handed over the body for private burial.) Even if you manage to find the grave, you probably won't be able to figure out which bones belonged to Jesus.

I don't give a rat's ass what it was "meant to be." It IS a fantasy story. It has a Talking Snake and a flood that never happened and an undead rabbi and a dragon big enough to knock a third of the stars out of the sky with its tail.

I feel sorry for any adult who takes the Bible literally.

Jesus, if he was ever anything more than an invention of Paul the Antichrist, is stone fucking dead and couldn't even save himself. Nonetheless, if he needs the likes of you, theBorg, to be his messenger boy he has already failed miserably at the saving business.

Huh. Gee, that is word for word the exact same sentence you used over at AF.
So you're basically just copypastaing everything between the two sites? Nice "discussions" you're trying to have.

Not "meant to be" but is.
Is not, because not meant to be.

Okay. The bible is a jumbled mess of unedited nonsense written by ignorant savages.

Is that better?
It is just your opinion. There are many sick people. Think about it.

If your god actually existed in the real world, theBorg, we would have no need for opinions on its existence. We would be able to see it, speak to it and hear an audible voice in response, and to witness it doing things that transcend our current scientific knowledge. Instead we get multiple "holy books" from different cultures, and the books often contradict one another. We have organizations that are dedicated to the propagation of myth and hearsay, to ensure that future generations are brainwashed into believing nonsense.

Instead of testable empirical evidence we have millions of people talking to themselves and pretending that a god is talking back.

Instead of scientific rigour and skepticism, we're expected to value wishful thinking and dubious promises of eternal life.

I am not a psychiatrist, but I strongly suspect you have identified the wrong group as "sick."
