Does talking about rape usually make one a patriotic sexist?
Is the issue of rape a representation of american culture and sexism towards men and prisoners?
We americans love our violence, whether it's in movies or real violence against humans in our country or other countries. The people who refer to rape are usually women and the poster child for rape victims are women. But the people supposedly against rape are just trying to get some airtime, book sales and to provide the usual shock factor. What all these people don't mention is that more men are raped every year than women are. Yet none of this gets talked about simply because the rapes happen in prisons, and we americans love to punish people so who cares about those rape victims right. Another issue that the fake rape concern people don't bring up often is the issue or rape in the military...because uncle sam is never wrong and we should always support our raping troops. http://invisiblewarmovie.com/ |
