Does the GOP really like Jesus?
It's well known that the GOP is a little, um screwy, on religion, specifically Jesus (after all, those other religions are crazy.) But if you look at what they believe, it's not what Jesus would want.

Jesus was a peaceful, radical, non-violent revolutionary. He hung out with hookers, criminals, etc. Anti-capitalism, anti-wealth, anti-public prayer (Matthew 6:5), and anti-death penalty. He also wasn't anti-gay, said nothing about abortion, never justified torture, didn't call the poor "lazy", never gave tax cuts to the rich. And not to mention he was a long haired, brown skinned (Revelations), homeless, middle-eastern Jew.

So Jesus doesn't seem like the guy you think of when you here "Republican." The GOP is against everything Jesus taught, so do they actually like him/would like him?

Man created god in his own image - why should the GOP be any different? Wink
