Dogs enabling people
So, when people think of this they mostly think of guide dogs for the blind and hearing ear dogs. Dogs can do a lot more:

I was particularly impressed with the dog who can smell a seizure in a person's blood 2 hours before it happens.

All of the dogs here are nothing short of amazing, and there are a ton of other things dogs can be taught to assist with.

Dogs are awesome! Way better than cats!

Swing with me a while, we can listen to the birds call, we can keep each other warm.
Swing with me forever, we can count up every flower, we can weather every storm.

Yeah, just be ready for somebody to overwhelm you with shitty grumpy cat meme pics.

Otherwise a good article, mostly because of this first pic:

I am a diabetic. My dog (I have three, but only my border collie is an actual "service dog") tells me when my blood sugar is high OR low. And she tells me which. Long before I ever notice. Java has saved my life twice.

So many cats, so few good recipes.

We need a picture of this special dog?

I'm not anti-social. I'm pro-solitude. Sleepy

Ya know I was just thinking yesterday why so many TTAers have cats rather than dogs. Is it because the majority are Americans and (compared to Aussies) they tend to live in "apartments" and can't have dogs in them?

Not sure that this is so, many have both. I do. I have parrots, too.

Maybe we can do a poll.

I have two furry Gods, and photos of them, but being a computer illiterate old fart I don't know how to post them here. Undecided
